Letter to Miss Louisa Gilman, 1823 Nov. 28.

The letter, from an unidentified correspondent, discusses a conversation with George Ticknor in Boston. The correspondent records Ticknor's opinion on Spanish vs French literature; his refusal to publish his lectures, and lecture in Boston; and his selection of a book for him to read.
